Beyond Beginner Surf Lessons
Duration: 3 hours
Instruct to client ratio: Max 3 students per coach (3:1)!!
Destination: Playa la Lancha (Punta de Mita), Nayarit.
Who’s this tour for?:
Ideal for the surfer looking to improve, or build on their skills, but can’t commit to a 3 or 5 day course.
Surfers that have been practicing their basic skills, such as paddling into waves, pop-up and riding the white water and now want to start turning and riding green waves.
Summary: Depending on your skill level we will work on your bottom turn and get you riding green waves. You should be comfortable paddling into waves and popping up!
What’s included: Qualified instructor and lifeguard, Surfboard, Rash-vest/lycra.
What to bring: Swimsuit/shorts (that won’t fall off!), sunscreen/ good facial sunblock (please choose a reef friendly product!), flip flops or sandals for the trail, drinking water.
Itinerary in detail: Once you arrive at our HQ in La Lancha, we will kit you out with a board and lycra/rash-vest. Our ISA qualified coach will then walk the jungle trail with you to the beach. The lesson starts with an interactive surf theory session on dry land to equip you with the skills needed to surf safely and effectively.
After a quick warm-up we will jump in the sea and surf. When surfing is over we will give feedback and underpin the key points you’ve learned. Then we finish the lesson with a lovely jungle walk back to our HQ.
The session will last around 3 hours from meeting you to saying goodbye.
