  • Awesome experience!! My boyfriend and I have had some experience surfing but wanted to build our skills on our first weekend in Sayulita- Jonny gave us a FANTASTIC lesson and we improved so much in just a couple hours. The waves here are perfect for packing in a ton of practice, plus it’s absolutely gorgeous water and such a chill place to learn. Jonny’s a rad guide and we had so much fun chatting with him and grabbing beers after at a sweet rooftop surf bar in the jungle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

  • The best teachers! The chillest possible learning experience! Lovely vibe! Couldn’t recommend more highly, the highlight of our trip. I’d never really surfed before and they had me standing up so quickly. The beach they take you to-La Lancha-is fully sandy with a steady supply of leather-size waves (there are also a bunch of distinct areas with waves of varying size, so you can pick your spots without worrying about being around anyone of the wrong skill level).

  • Amazing! If you want to make your trip great to awesome, book with Sunset Sessions Mexico. We went sailing and saw tons of whales while learning about the local region and wildlife. We jumped in the ocean and had a ball. We also went on a hike to Monkey Mountain and Johnny set up a tour for us on a separate boat to theMarietta Islands. We cant wait to come back and plan to spend lots of time with Sunset Sessions on the water!
